Q What can I expect at my first consultation?

A Dr Wilkinson offers a telephonic/skype consultation prior to booking the procedure. You will be required to send through photographs of the proposed surgery site. And general medical information, most of your questions could be answered through email contact. Plan your first face-to-face consultation as soon after your arrival as possible. Prepare a list of all the questions and concerns you wish Dr Wilkinson to address, and make sure that you understand the answers! She will perform a physical examination and take a full medical history during which it is imperative that you disclose all information pertaining to your own and your family’s medical history. You will also discuss your reasons for wishing to undergo the procedure, your expectations, and from Dr Wilkinsons side details about the outcome you can realistically anticipate.
It is possible that alternative procedures could be recommended, and we advise you to keep an open mind to such suggestions.
