FAQ’s ABOUT YOUR STAY
Q How long should I plan to book my stay in South
Africa?
A This depends largely on what surgery you are
undergoing. If you refer to our ‘Procedures’ page and
read up on the specific procedure you are considering, you will
find details on the anticipated initial recovery period to be planned
around.
Remember that you should also add on some time for touring the beautiful
South African countryside once you are up and about again!
Our ‘Recovery’ page has great ideas on tours and site
seeing.
Q What are my accommodation options for the recovery
period?
A The South African hospitality industry is well
equipped to cater for the needs of recuperating cosmetic surgery
patients. Our ‘Recovery’ page has details of recommended
hotels, guesthouses and self-catering accommodation options.
Book Cape Town offers a great selection of
accommodation establishments, some of which are located within
walking distance of the surgery. We also work closely with specialized recuperation centers who willl personally assist you from arriving in South Africa, to attending to you postoperatively and planning your flights, transport accommodation, and any further personal attention that you may require. You can contact them directly www.bodywellness.co.za and www.surgicalbliss.com.
Q What about transport between the clinic / hospital
and my accommodation?
A Your hotel should be able to arrange transport
to and from the clinic, either with an in-house driver or a reputable
local transfer company. If you have a companion with you who has
a valid driver’s license we recommend that you organize car
hire for the duration of your stay.
