MALE PECTORAL IMPLANTS
This procedure is becoming increasingly popular for men. The surgery can be done on an ‘out-patient’ basis, allowing you to be discharged on the same day.
The implant is made from soft, flexible silicone. It is inserted in an incision made in the armpit and placed directly under the pectoralis muscle.
Dressings and stitches are removed after around 5 days. You can anticipate some discomfort and tightness for up to 2 weeks, and are advised not to work out for around 6 weeks after surgery.
