Dr. Wilkinson consults at the Renaissance B.S.I, a modern, state of the art, private clinic in the heart of Cape Town. It is a six story complex thats more than a wellness institute and gymnasium, as it house a dedicated team of medical, therapeutic, cosmetic, fitness and lifestyle specialists, all under one roof.

STAFF

Dr. Wilkinson employs highly qualified, educated, and caring staff who are dedicated to providing you an unforgettable experience and will make your needs and wellbeing their top priority. Anelda (capetown@drnwilkinson.co.za) is the practice manager and front office co-ordinator. She will assist you in making appointments and answering your questions about the scope of my practice and particular procedures.

Nathalie is my clinical and surgical assistant. She obtained extensive experience, working for 15 years in Paris with renowned surgeons before relocating to Cape Town. She will assist with in depth questions of surgical procedures and provides compassionate postoperative care.

RENAISSANCCE SURGICAL CLINIC

We have a complement of professional and qualified nurses whose personalised care ensures a safe and comfortable experience at the clinic. The nursing staff are all plastic surgery trained.

Our clinic opened in 1960. In 2006 we relocated to our new premises was especially designed with patient comfort and wellbeing in mind, while still maintaining high standards of clinicalexcellence and hygiene. Omnilux Light Therapy:

Break through Diode light technology. A treatment to a wide range of dermatological conditions, including photo damage, non-melanoma skin cancer, skin rejuvenation and wound healing. This light therapy stimulates the skin to naturally rejuvenate and heal.

It is non invasive, painless, zero-downtime and complementary to all aesthetic and surgical procedures.

Percutaneous Collagen Induction Therapy:

Non-surgical facial rejuvenation, better known as Medical Skin Needling.

This procedure creates tiny areas of trauma within the skin, initiating a natural healing process. This process then releases natural growth factors that stimulate the production of collagen & elastin, resulting in skin rejuvenation.

Indications for this procedure:

Fine lines & wrinkles
Lax skin
Acne scarring

Medical skin peeling:

Peels are individualised to target a variety of dermatological conditions including acne, sun damage, pigmentation, scars, and skin rejuvenation. Peels remove the damaged outer layers of skin and allow new skin to regenerate.

Renaissance Skin Science offers a variety of different peeling strengths and depths.

Photodynamic Therapy:

Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) with ALA is a treatment that combines Omnilux Red light with a photosensitizing solution ALA (aminolevulinic acid) to improve sun damage, pre-cancerous cells (actinic keratosis), severe acne and sebaceous hyperplasia in a non-invasive, cosmetically enhancing way.
